Rabbit Purchase Agreement
Our sales policy is in place for the health and wellness of our animals and to ensure clear communication and understanding with our clients. Please read it in its entirety before deciding to reserve a rabbit or making a purchase. By making a payment toward a rabbit, you are agreeing to the sales policy listed below. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

When you have chosen a rabbit and are ready to make a deposit or a purchase, please use the form below to contact us so we can email you an invoice with a link to make your payment via Venmo or Paypal. We prefer electronic payments, but we also accept cash.
- All sales are final. No refunds, replacements, or exchanges will be given unless otherwise stated below.
- We can refuse the sale of a rabbit to anyone at any time with no explanation.
- Buyers may surrender the rabbit back at any point. The price of the rabbit will not be refunded. The rabbit must come with a suitable cage because we do not have unlimited cage space. We may choose not accept a rabbit back if we suspect it is ill. We cannot risk the bio-security of our rabbitry by taking in a sick rabbit.
- Rabbits must be at least 8 weeks old before they leave the rabbitry. No exceptions.
- Once a rabbit leaves our possession, we will not be held liable for any problems that arise from the transaction, either directly or indirectly.
- We do not allow visitors to walk through the rabbitry or touch the breeding stock or cages. This allows us to maintain bio-security and ensure all buyers are receiving the healthiest rabbits possible.
- Buyers may choose to inspect an available rabbit prior to purchase by scheduling an appointment at a mutually agreeable offsite location.
- At the time of purchase, the rabbit will come with enough pellet feed to slowly transition to a buyer’s feed over the course of a week.
- Pedigrees will be emailed once full payment is received. We will supply a hard copy at a buyer’s request.
- No rabbits will leave our possession until they are paid for in full.
RESERVATIONS AND HOLDS:
- You may reserve a kit before it is 8 weeks old in order to guarantee its availability by paying a $25 deposit. The remaining amount due must be paid before the rabbit will be released to you.
- Available rabbits 8 weeks and older are sold on a first-come first-served basis, and we will not hold for more than 24 hours without a $25 deposit.
- Deposits are non-refundable. However, if we cancel or change a sale at no fault of a buyer, the payment will be refunded.
PICK UP:
- We do not ship rabbits. Buyers are welcome to arrange transport of rabbits, but they are completely responsible for making all arrangements, including any additional cost and liability. We are happy to recommend transporters we've used personally in the past.
- Please bring a suitable carrier at the time of pickup (ex: travel cage/small animal carrier).
- The rabbit must be picked up within 24 hours of the agreed pick-up date and time. If a rabbit is not picked up within 24 hours of the agreed pick-up date and time and the buyer does not contact us to make new arrangements, the deposit/payment is forfeited and we may resell or retain the rabbit at our discretion.
GUARANTEES:
- To the best of our knowledge, all rabbits are sold healthy when they leave the rabbitry. Buyers are responsible for inspecting rabbits to be sure there are no concerns at time of pickup. We will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that leave the rabbitry. At the time of sale, we guarantee the health of the purchased rabbit for 3 days from the time of pickup. If the rabbit becomes sick or dies during the 3 day period, we will offer a replacement of equal value. If a replacement is not available, a full refund will be given. If there is suspicion or evidence of mistreatment or neglect, no replacements will be made and no refund will be given.
- We do not guarantee any rabbit’s future breeding ability, reproductive performance, quality of offspring, show winning, temperament, size, etc. It is each buyer’s responsibility to confirm that the rabbit is free from disqualifications and is the desired show quality before purchase.
- A “proven breeder” describes a rabbit that has successfully kindled and raised or sired at least 1 litter.
- A “bred doe”, describes a doe that has been exposed to a specific buck with a minimum of 3 “fall-offs”. We cannot not guarantee any breeding will result in a live litter. Due to bio-security, a doe who fails to produce a live litter after exposure may not return for another breeding once she leaves our rabbitry.
- We make every effort to correctly determine the sex of all rabbits, but the sex of a young rabbit under 3 months of age is not guaranteed. We will do our best to accurately sex every rabbit but it is each buyer’s responsibility to personally verify the sex of the rabbit they purchase.
- Pedigrees are correct to the best of our knowledge and will depict a rabbit’s lineage. A pedigree is not a guarantee of purebred lines. We can guarantee our own honesty, but we cannot guarantee the honesty of others that own rabbits listed on a pedigree.
- Rabbits sold as “pet quality” do not come with pedigrees and should not be entered into any breeding program.
- Rabbits sold as “meat breeders” do not come with pedigrees.
- Rabbits sold as “fryers”, “roasters”, etc. do not come with pedigrees and should not be entered into any breeding program.
